Our approach to traffic management

We’re pleased to say that our business broadband packages don’t have any speed restrictions. So, if you’re on one of our packages, you don’t need to worry about us slowing you down. It doesn’t matter how much you upload or download, even at peak times. We won’t slow down peer-to-peer file sharing either.

In order to give you the best possible service on the products you buy from us, we only prioritise VoIP services (Voice Over Internet) while it’s actively in use on your line. So if you’re on a call using VoIP, then this will take priority over other internet activity to ensure you have an uninterrupted call.

Advice – Broadband care tips

Checking the range

Wi-Fi – We would recommend your router is within the centre of the premises where you will be using it for the best Wi-Fi radius, on a clear table/desk above floor height, with no objects in the way to prevent any signal interference.

BT Master Socket

Make sure your router is plugged into the ‘BT Master Socket’, with the adapter cable in and if you have any extensions make sure adapters are plugged into these as well.
